japanese pasta waraku

Today we brought Baby J out with us to Millenia Walk as my hubby had an appointment at rossi apparel to make & measure new business sleeves and pants there. After that, we walked to Marine Square to have lunch at pasta waraku and lucky not so full yet. All working people had just left at about 2pm.

I ordered cream salmon & spinach.

He ordered this - meat hamburg steak pasta.

We love this iced cocoa drink much. All the time favourite drink.

I wont hesitate to recommend you all to try out the nice food at this pasta waraku restaurant. It is much different from pastamania.

Sadly, I forget to move this drink away as it blocked baby J from camera. Missed it out.

My hubby was feeding him for me as my arm was too tired to carry him.

He is growing well and getting heavier...got heavy bones and little muscular.

No more wearing mittens and bibs for him as he has outgrown them already.

He kept looking at his own hands and also likes to lick or bit his hand sometimes.

Started to love his little chubby cheek bit and bit. :))

aussino bedsheet costs SGD$60

Finally I bought a new queen bedsheet from aussino outlet at Tampines Mall that my aunt in law working there and given me 40 percent off discount to purchase this SGD$60 bedsheet. It costs me only about SGD$36.00 something. I wanted to buy 2 set of bedsheets but there is not much nice designs to choose. :((

Actually it means for the coming chinese new year and I will change it about 2-3 days before eve of chinese new year. I just love this pure & feminine style floral love designs mixed together with white and pink and some red. Very smooth feeling when you use your hand to feel it. 260 threadcount sheet set. Prefect color for cny festival.

sunny face music gym

This sunny face music gym is highly recommended for newborn to 36months troddlers as it has auto music itself and you need to install AAA+ batteries inside. This gym is able to carry around and no need to discard them into box. It can be found at toy R us outlet and costs about SGD $50. It was from my hubby's aunt who bought this specially for his first month full celebration last year December 20th.

We put this gym on the bed every morning for him to exercise his body and hands and head movement as he has developed well. He just turned 2 months old offically.

Baby J stares so hard at this sunny face and we had not switch on its music yet.

When music on for a long time, Baby J responded to it very well and reacted to it very fast.
He kept smiling or laughing at it many times. Think he likes it very much.

Finally, he made his first attempt of touching and grabbing this gym thingy.

It will be his new milestone in his early growing day.

And hopefully he is growing well and happy always.

korean kimchi expired date

This kimchi is the real made in korea and those 2 packets my hubby's friend bought specially for us, knowing that we are super lover of kimchi. He is a half muslim chinese but still he went to Korea with his colleagues last year december.

Was told that he cannot eat everything in Korea for almost a week already and I wondered what could he eat there execpt pork. kowtow to him. really.........

But the biggest mistake is forget to check this expired date was overdue on 6th Jan 2008 and we did not expect it so soon. And both packets were bloated till like this and I decided to cut it to see if it is edible to eat or not. After opening it, whoa...foul smell came out strongly everywhere in my kicthen. Immediately I threw it. We had no chance to eat its authentic kimchi. So sad..... ;(( In singapore, shop dont have selling this one.

One day if got chance fly to Korea, I will remember to buy 3 packets of real kimchi back home to eat happily with my hubby and my family.

wishlist: ralph lauren tote bag

This Ralph Lauren Black Tote bag I have been adding it in my wishlist but waiting time for a long long.....time to make decision whether I should buy it or not. It is non-authentic one but the workmanship is quite excellent and almost exactly the same designed as one authentic at RP outlet shop. But was told that authentic one was sold at SGD $300 plus and this bag was launched at 2004.

But young people in Singapore still carrying this ralph lauren tote bag (various designed bags and different colors) but i like this one (picture above). And I happened to see one lady carry this same bag recently. I think she is University student as her bag full of thick assignment book and file.

In YA, selling only $88.00 that is greatly big damage to me.

I like this bag because it is interesting & trendy one with colourful RP logo on it but I prefer it to have zip or clasp to close, not open space bag. The handler is short strap is pretty fit to carry either hand carry or shoulder-carry. Very roomy enough to place my thick book or baby stuff inside when bring Baby J out.

Right now....still thinking.....still deciding... :(( .....

demand of love letters

Those 3 days from last monday to yesterday wednesday, I went to my mother's home to help out making CNY love letters goodies and at same time, I was looking after my baby J. Really tough and tedious on me and I have to bear with it abit longer.

Also bought her a egg roll toaster from court outlet in order to finish up making love letters quicky before the end of January 2008. I have tried her secret skill of making love letters with less sugar and more coconuts and eggs. Taste and eating it is enough to melt in my mouth and my tongue is not too sensitive to sugar. Healthy choice for less sugar for this love letters goodies.

With 2 toasters, managed to finish up to 8 small containers within 3 half hours. Good enough.

Still alot of big and small containers stuck at the store room and my mother is still making love letters. Hopefully she can finish them in no time soon as she has many orders from our relatives and friends and former colleagues and blah.....

Yesterday I brought Baby J back home so that my mother will have more times on making them to meet her deadline.

baby chloe's 1 yrs old

ooohhh..... could not believe that one year has past very fast and remembered the day that I visited chloe when she was only 2 months old and I was just a 4-5 weeks pregnant.

Attending Chloe's 1st year old celebration at her home today. Chloe looks more chubbier and cuter but to my surprise that she can walk on her own without any helping hands to hold her. Amazing.. good baby development and growth as well. Even I could not carry her as she is really too heavy for me.

And Chloe and my baby J also born at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and same born year of pig and also same gynae doctor, Dr T.B Lim. haha.. This mother is my hubby's cousin as well.

We bought this quite big talking ELMO for chloe as she likes this. But looking at this Elmo toy only allows for above 18+ months troddlers. It is not cheap okie. Authentic talking Elmo toy costs $63.90 from Takashiaya Department store. At least, she loves it and it worths it.

beautiful rainbow

Today we went to my mother's home in YS to bring baby J back home before my young niece came as she is having chicken pox and still on way to recovery. Heartpain to see poor niece suffering this at only coming to 2 years old next month, February 08.

We happened driving pass seletar reservoir and saw the beautiful rainbow. We immediately stopped there and took some photos before rain came. We managed it finally. The first 2 photos was taken by my hubby while the last one I took for him. Nice ???

fun baby's animal

Today my hubby went to expo to attend his GE 100th Anniversary Celebration with thousands insurance successful people there. Then he told me that GE announced that either this year or next year probably going to South Africa and most of them stand up clapping happily. Only he was left alone being blur and wondered why they so excited to go to this country. Then he sms-ed me to ask if I want to go South Africa or not.

Guess what I said to him...... I sms-ed saying that I dont really like this country because of wild animals and not well-versed of this South Africa. He said good explore to travel there till I made it very clear was that I dont really like to visit wild animals if it is the one country you mentioned. Phew!~!..... I cannot say the reason why...

In end after his event then he bought a flash cards & dvd set from shop and showed it to me. It is all about fun learning of baby's animals. I said ah...not again..why choose animals?

Well, I can say it is never too late or early for babies to learn this. It is my hubby's new kiasu to teach baby jayden this one.

This is flash cards with different animals with names for babies or troddlers to see. Great interactive learning tool for babies and troddlers actually. So we are going to give it a try to show it to baby J to see if he responds / reacts or not. It costs only SGD $16.90 included flash cards and DVD. not bad one. :))

new k810i for Y2008

Yesterday was a sad for my dear 2 years old Nokia 7610 handphone was spolit itself and I was told that it was not worth to send it for repair. I really could not bear to leave this hp and still want to use this again after send it for repair. But in end I finally kept it as my memory instead of selling it off.

Reason: I love this feature and designed with UNO card alike best one 7610 Nokia,ya.

I had a bad headache after looking at many choices of handphones of Sony Ericsson and Nokia and LG for a straight 3 hours. And I was unable to make decision which handphone shall I choose after I counted LG out. Only the final choices - SE or Nokia and both brand model phones are too many designs and features to choose. In fact, I really hate to choose handphone.

My brother and sister recommended me to buy a new handphone - Sony Ericsson. I said agrh...why this one? I still prefer Nokia as I have been using many different Nokia phones since 1999 and never failed to switched to other phone brands. Used to love Nokia phones. Guess better designs and features at that time.

However looking at Nokia new phones and seem its standard has dropped abit and abit. I dont have much fancy of every new Nokia phones compared to 7610 is much better. No wonder my brother switched to LG while sister using SE phone right now. With their given acknowledge about phones, I finally decided to buy a new phone is Sony Ericsson K810i today. Guess they must be happy to see me getting a new phone finally for a new year, hehe... Even my hubby said K810i is much better than N73 nokia phone. Phew.. !~!

Now I am very much new to this sony ericsson and trying to get used to it even the buttons is quite difficult to type when come to texting sms. Not strongly friendly-users but music and camera are both the best. Shiok mah.... hehe....

smile at last

Seeing baby J smile many times...really melt my heart so easily. I did so many attempts to make him smile or happy as he is growing well and more chubby now. Finally took photo of his little sweet smile to remember forever.

Despite of being so busy looking after him, changing his diapers, feeding him milk, bathing him, cruddling him, playing with him, talking to him and many, I try not get myself tired so easily but seeing him smile often really brighten up my day and night everydays. So that I wont get exhausted fast. He made me love him even more and I am willing to go through tough times to take care of him.

Well, Baby J will be staying at my mother's place from 8th to 11th Jan as I have things to attend and my hubby will be busier in next few days time. On weekends will be more easier for us to look after him. Poor hubby as he said he will be missing him much, that is why he got hp to take photos of him and took video of him. Can see that he loves baby J much.

pinnkk craze

I did not know that I have so many pink things without any notice of those till one of my friend found it obvious to think that I like pink color. Then he asked me why I like pink even I already a mother to baby J. I suttered upon hearing this and could not provide the reason why I like pink. Personally pink is my natural favourite color since I was young girl. Now I am a brand new mother offically, alamak. what is funny encounter brought to me??

But dont expect my wardrobe or furniture or what to be full of pink everything, cannot be lah. I still like other colors too such as yellow grey black white blue green and purple to balance in my wardrobe. No red brown orange please, as i dislike those dull colors to vanish my image just like this.

new resolution 2008

Wondering if it is a must or just for fun to have a new resolution for the year 2008 and sometimes it is quite scary to predict what will be happening later in 2008.

Hopefully everything will be smooth and easy for everybody here without having some problems or troubles or blah.....

my short resolution for 2008 but not so serious yet.
I am on way to have my incision fully recovered before resume running.

1. to lose another 8kg within 4-6 weeks before end of Feb 2008

2. to build my bond strongly with my baby J

3. complete 10km run by 50mins
(GE women run and shape run 2008)

4. complete 21km run by 2hrs 30 - 45mins
(for aug and dec 2008 spore marathon only)

5. better work environment and smooth sailing pay

6. *still taking sweet time to think of what I want to do for the new year 2008* okie??
