November - what to plan ????

Good bye to October 2006..
Wonder how much I hate the time seem fly very faster than my eyes to see....

For example:
When I started to do some work at about 11am, alot of idotic works required alot of my times & strength.. then still doing it while I noticed that very strongly light in my room till the light become darker.. thought rainy is coming soon..

Did not notice the timing when I was working.. Mostly I am more engrossed with my work which is my own passion to chase till now...

After I successfully done half of my work, I was shocked to see time is about 6++pm. Jumped out of my seat, rushed to home & kitchen to prepare dinner cook for my dear...

Now I am looking at the calendar of November 2006... it is more tough than what I think... Kinda stressing now... gotta to learn stress & anger management.

Gotta to deal with my own time management to spilt plannings on work, hang with my friends, date with my dear, run training, others stuffs..

No choice to squeeze my timing to start run training becoz of my coming Standard Chartered Marathon women 10km in December 2006. Time will comes very very........SOON.. cannot afford to lose time. Probably give up some to focus on run training... OMG!~! ^_^"

PSS The Best 5 Male Contestants

Today I was extremely dead bored at home and happening found the latest undated of PSS Website. Great Thanks to Channel U writer for keeping updated of happening about 24 Females and Male Contestants.

Firstly, I agreed with judges that male contestants looked far better than those female contestants and not much females one will stand strongly to win the title to be the next Stefanie Sun. But good luck to those 12 Female Contestants after Tay Kewei left PPS due to some reasons.

Secondly, I am very impressed with those Channel U PPS teams of stylish, make up artists and else to make look more interesting & presentable & fashion style looks on those contestants.

Thirdly, I chose 5 male contestants who will stand a chance to win the rounds till the grand final. The rest - I could not say much after reading about them.

Come and take a look at www.mediacorptv.com -where I found.

Daren Tan, only 23 and currently National Serviceman.

I am quite attracted to him but I would not chase after him. I just want to support him and he probably or surely to be champion for this PSS.

He has greatly the look up as next idol and "boyish" looking. Well - maintained looks.

He looks better in dark skin color, not so fair like the picture on 8th October 2006 (see the next picture of him with Jeff Wang).

See....he really resembles abit to Jeff Wang. Still I like the first new look picture of him in while suit.

I will put V sign hand "victory" for him as I may say that he will be winner in final round.

Huang Shiyu, aged 23. Cureently studying in NUS.

Special Talents: Mimicking Donald Duck; Pikachu; Yoda; radio DJ Glenn Ong’s alter egos in his previous radio show The Ego Trip; race cars; the sound of erhu; animals – it all began when he was a kid watching the cartoon Transformers and trying to mimic the sounds.

Watch him perform his special talent here!

I leave this to you to judge whether he will go through the rounds or not.

He was winner of Star Search together with Felicin Chin. No wonder, I found him familiar. But he left acting for singing.

Jeremy Chan, aged 25 (bartender)

He has talent - singing and dancing. Wondering why he likes to put headband around his forehead.. He looks not bad anyway.

Hope to see him dancing when he is singing in next month and looking forward to his new style looks of him...

Zhang Le Sheng, aged 25.

Looked better in this plain suit. Never forget that on 8th Oct Audition, he wore suit with over accessories such as badget and chains everywhere to make him look like a "christmas tree".

Kelvin Soon, aged 24.

He really looks abit like Singapore Idol Season 1 winner - Slyester Sim. But Kelvin is better than him even both of them have same likes of rock style.

Discovery about his hidden talent :
Singing (learnt from listening to Jacky Cheung and David Tao CDs); impersonate Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung, Sam Li Shengjie and Ronald Cheng.
*Thumb up for him*

Old And New The Cathay Cineplex

I finally took this old The Cathy Cineplex before it transformed into new building looks. Read the notice said that the building was like this from 1939 till 1990... Not much saying on the notice... Wow so long years..still the building looks exactly the same till now..especially the outer building only. Not inside one.

Happening to recall my bad rememberance when I was only about 6 years old, my uncle who loved to watch moives frequently and I was always dragged along with him and his friends. Then I still remember this front enterance so much similar in about 1980s. Not this picture of moive "sleeping beauty". Before we went inside cinema, i saw alot of people gathering around the van with transparent glasses window.

Guess what was inside the white posh van? It was a english style coffin with half open.

Was very shocked to see coffin and did not know what movie I was watching with my uncle and could not communicate with him due to crowd around me. Then he bought me sweet corn pop and drink and told me that we were going in. I nodded my head.

One of his friends said that it was a vampire moive in english show. Shit, it was about 930pm and alot people walked slowly up to cinema. very very crowd... I did not know why why... Then I held my uncle's hand tightly and shaked him to ask why must we look up.

Then he told me that there was a vampire man who hanged at the cinema ceiling at the open near entrance. Saw his black boots was left on stair and the other was on silver holder. So I looked up and screamed that what I saw was a REAL HUMAN VAMPIRE MAN with white fangs on his teeth, his eyes was opening but his eye balls was upwards. He was in black long coat. I started to cry and screamed for "mummy..... daddy....." in public.

My uncle's female friend carried me immediately inside cinema and tried hard to stop me crying. We could not get out as too many people behind us walking up the main cinema. When the moive started at 10.30pm, again I saw the vampire man appeared so big.. I could hear his voice so loudly in horror sound like vampire... could not describe its sound effect. It was very scary and it frightened... I hide myself under the seat and refused to watch & covered my ears.

Till when the show ended about midnight, my uncle carried me back home by taxi. I started to cry again as I still could hear the sound of vampire voice which was following me. I was extremely frightened and could not stop crying. My mother was worried and got no idea in end.

At about 3am, my mother tried very hard to make me sleep, I could not. Because I could hear vampire horror voice inside my mind ...it was kinda disturbing me. I kept telling my mother that vampire man was following me. Then till now, I never watch vampire or haunted show again. I took some years to overcome this fears.
It is my true story which is not so easy to forget till now.

This one is the front entrance which never changed...Only some parts changed or upgraded differently.

This one is the open space of entrance... before that... it was where the vampire man was hanged at up cinema ceiling in 1985 or 1986 of old movie where my uncle looked up before telling me this.

Now new design had changed its building looks with colorful decorations with pictures.

That one was where the white van with coffin inside was parking here near entrance where alot of people gathered to take look there. Then looked inside was so much 100% different from the last time. Before that, it was a long stair at main face near entrance. Not no more stairs and the cinema had changed to other sides of right with lift to go up. It was far better than the last time.

I merely took this picture as it gave me good idea to do my work related to fashion ideas.... But I do not know what is TEQUILA so I am going to find out more about this one day.

Seductive Photos - Yamanba

Happening found the latest new fashion photos of Yamanba at Taiwan Auction where I was looking at...Then saw the photos which is something more seductive looks caught my eyes... I knew that is the new brand of seller..just knew recently only.

Most photos in Taiwan Auction are not very much impressive like those photos and this model of this looked like more suitable to the image of clothes (Winter Season Collection). Unlike the other models of different brand sellers are too sweet and some are princess style looks are not up to my standards.

Too much seductive photos did not mark my idea to do my clothes online selling....it is partly not good idea to follow this method of taking photography.... But truly appreciate & attracted this photos much.

Top 12 Female Contestants 2006

Will start with female contestants first and I found it very hard to guess who will make it to the Final next year in 2007. I have seen them at Suntect Tropical Atrium on 8th October 2006. Not much of them has shown their talents greatly at their own strengths. Only could make alittle guess that 2 of them will make it but let viewers see their talents in singing then they will vote them.

Averil Chan, aged 22 (studying)

Thought that she is the youngest among Top 12 female contestants as she looks like a mature 17 years old to me as the way she was wearing in jean and blue halter top with short cardigan and her youth appearance.

Till I saw the website and realised she is only 22. Oh...appearance is a little tricky to me.

Dont know if she can make it or not.

Charlotte Loh, aged 25 (banking)

Oldest among Top 12 Female Contestants. maybe not.
Rather her go back to work in banking, quit day dreaming as singer.

Look very ordinary and not much attractive looks like Kelly Poon. She will be out very soon.

She was the one I never forget as she left me a funny & poor taste in her clothing appearance. When she walked up the stage after her name was announced. Was a little freak of her small size figure with big loose WHITE balloon dress. It was like she was on maternity leave.

Could see her balloon white dress too big for her and this dress is out of shaped. Not suit on her. my god sake.. gosh..

Should she wear body hugging tunic white dress with either legging or jean will give her image much difference. Why she wore this big loose white balloon dress? cannot stop laughing it.

She should buy a big mirror in her room to do some clothes reflection to see if this dress suits her or not before the event day.

Veron Yang, aged 24 (HR Exercutive)

Just only to Top 12, dropped tear for what... Dont be too excited so early or else never know that she may out soon in next rounds.

With her given talent in singing, I am going to find out more about her. Her line as HR Exercutive is not bad and stable job, then why she joined PSS 2.

But I gave her big thumb up as she was in prefect clothing to suit her entire looks.

Tang Ling Yi, aged 19 (student)

So much mistakens about her. Did not look 19 to me. She is far much maturer than Averil Chan.

Just a little Plain Mary Jane to me. She needs some works on her entire clothings to improve her looks better in next round. On that day, she was in only white long sleeve and jean with normal hair style.

If she has a good vocal or hidden discovery of her talent, she will be better soon. Go for it...

Dawn Wong, aged 22 (bank executive)

Does she need to sneeze her nose to hide her half face?

Yeah, she was the first one who made me suffocate so hard. Guess what? She walked up in 3/4 folded jean and biggest loose babydoll spag top. Would surely said her top so big to fly & breeze at same time.. Same like Charlotte and same similar bank line.

Think she is far better to work in bank. Scare later in next round, she may come out with funny clothings which do not much appealing on her. Same for charlotte.

Lee Her Ching, aged 23 (Sales)

Not sure if she is really 23 years old. To me, thought she is about 26 years old and she walked up the stage in overdress in white based and green graphic prints. Look like a christmas tree decoration to me.

Dont think that singing will be look good on her.

Choose her better for the SK Jewellery Spokepersons.

Magdalene Yeong, aged 22 (unemployed)

She is the one I would say that she will make it. But judges comments on her.. she better extent her efforts to pratice singing well in next few rounds more.

With her own asset is her height, she is pretty tallest among female contestants.

Tay Kewei, aged 23 (Project Coordinator)

Heard that she will be probably the winner in the final. I said to my friends, huh....sure not..

Even though she is good fashion sense dressing on that day but to her singing talent, I prefer not say say say anything. Leave it to judges.

If she still on to rounds to final, I will show thumb up. Now too early to say.

Maxilian Chan, aged 19. (Student)

Gosh.... she is too sweet to be the next idol of PSS 2. She looks more like "princess" style to me.

Dont think she will make it. Best for her to get down & concentrate on her studies.

Yeo Chia Ying, aged 25 (Accounts Executive)

She looks much partly the same as Miss Singapore 2006, 1st Runner, Jade Seah. She is now currently with Media Corp.

She is pretty enough to join Miss Singapore 2007, why joins singing...

Michelle Low, aged 24 (Personal Financial Consultant)

What do you think of her?

She do not look more like idol star herself... Just another plain mary jane to me somemore. She is better to stick with her own professional line to suit her. personal financial consultant is not bad either ???

Lydia Tan Diya, aged 21 (Student)

Hope MediaCorp looks for her to be the next well-known comedian Patricia Mok.

She is just resemble to her due to her face appearance & expression shown. Ought to join Media Corp instead and learns alot ropes from Patricia Mok is better than singing.

Amazing Relax Shop Indulge - Vivo City

My dear and I planned to go newly opening Vivo City but for alot of indian banglas workers.. felt like wanting to avoid them and looked out for empy space where we could wait for train to come & on board.

Then walking along the NEL glass window with many different poses about VIVO CITY, wont get bored to see.

This pose caught my eyes an and I walked down to NEL train from Outram Park MRT, then saw... I kinda like this the best as it is more professional & adverstisement meanings...See the words said "relax...shop....indulge..." it really speaks alot of thousand words when we went into VIVO CITY.

Happening to remember my primary school days that I visited the old WORLD TRADE CENTRE which has many expo halls for various activities or events before the new building of VIVO
CITY.
Times fly very fast and see things developing so much different.

Alot of people become so so KIASU and they rushed & walked very fast to enter this shopping mall.

Then my dear asked me why the developer chose this word "VIVO CITY".

Paused and I stumped for sometimes...replied him "i really dunno lor."

Before walking around this mall, I decided to take pictures outside first.

Actually it is about 2-3 times bigger than TakaShiMaya, Orchard.

When we went inside, we suddenly like became "ants" to this huge shopping malls and every shops are too far to us. We got to walk walk walk walk to every shops and restaurants, baby shops, else....

Then saw the 2 security guards, using auto trolley walker to roam around.

Unfortunately, we could not find the Golden Village cinema. Inside has everythings like got 2 food courts, 2 biggest supermarkets, Mango, Zara, Adidas and else many. Surprised, GAP outlet opened finally.

In GAP Outlet, we first walked in and I saw the nice brown leather sling bag. Wanted to buy it for my dear but saw the price, I nearly suffocated..it costs $300++ just for one bag. No thanks to this bag which is just plain simple design with 3 figures selling price.

But when walked up to top floor, whoa.. so nice designed playground for kids only. Some parts are not yet building... Same some shops have not opened yet. Then saw the banner said the GRAND OPENING will be on 1st December 2006. I wont come there with my hubby as we hate too crowd people around us. Difficult for us to walk through.

Then we saw the small shop with long queues and we were alittle curious to see what was that. Realised that it is new ToastBox, compared to Kaya Toast.

This toastbox is far better than Kaya Toast as got old equipments like 1950 - 1960s to display there and even the tables and seats all are in made of wood. Interesting to see.... also got old calendar with many pictures of horses and else.

Let see the new menu of Toast Box... It is abit different from kaya toast menu...

At Toast Box, this menu has provided at every tables and do not have to take trouble to walk up to counter to see the menu on top window broad.

Even take sweet time to see meun before ordering...

Got 3 pictures of different sets. And we ordered Set A and another thick toast with different toppings.

See got malay foods included.... Mee Siam, Thai Style Tauhu Goreng, Nasi Lemak and few mores...

That time we reached there abot 8.00pm, no more iced drink and some like soft buns finished.. No chance to eat.

This thick toast toppings reminded of my times with my dear in Bangkok, Thailand. We visited the new shopping mall near our Hotel then we saw the new food court. I even ordered 3 different thick toast toppings, strawberry, green coconunt kaya and thai chocolate. Each toast topping only range 50 - 60 bahts.

Now in Vivo City, got toast box selling thick toast topping on single bread. Abit same but different taste.

Closer photo to this thick toast topping breads. left one is mixed butter & kaya and right is chocolate. Each bread is cut into 9 small cube pieces is easy to eat.

Before serving the topping, bread has to be toasted first till it is little crispy hard one. So easy to put topping on it so that the bread wont get sloppy easily.

I asked my dear to hold the chocolate cube piece while I held the kaya cube so that I could spre my right hand to take picture of this.

Turned out, it is more clearer & ineresting to see every parts of toasted bread with toppings....

The chocolate drip is everywhere on bread side. Yeah it was yummy which my dear said so. For kaya, the butter already melt inside the bread.

The side wide of toasted bread is abit bigger than the thin brown bread at Kaya Toast.

Give yourselves a try to eat this thick toast topping when you will know.

Worth trying it.

Thumb Up for Tony Lim at PSS 2

On 8th October 2006, PSS 2 (Project Super Star 2) held at Suntec City, Tropical Artium from 1.00pm to 7.30pm (approx).

I put few photos here as on that day, i took photos more than 40 already. So I selected few logical photos which I could make some creative writing here.

Finally, I found this picture of Tony's small supportive fans & friends & even his own colleagues like Darrel, QianYu, Vincent, Benny & me, Phili & his girl.

Look at the left side of picture, does this picture of guy looks like singer, Jay Chou.. but actually this guy is Huang Shiyu.

I am biggest fan of Jay Chou since then.

I went up to second floor with my dear to take entire look at down, but not only those fans. I just wanted to take picture of 40 male cum female contestants.

Some contestants were not on seat.

Did not know where contestants went to... Could not say that they went home at half way.. abit crazy lor.

Just want to test my photography skill for this photos.

Not very candid or creative photo taking. I could not take longer times to take photos at 2nd floor as too many people who were so so KIASU to grab some spaces to stand & watch them.

So sianz..... :((

This was the second photo I took picture of him (Tony Lim) when I arrived there at Sunect City.

The first photo I moved all the photos into PSS 2 file with my dear now.

hmhm... Rather to say one line that it is Channel U's biggest loss for not giving him a chance to make it to Top 12 male conestants.

At least, he had shown some smart & heavenly color suit to walk up stage to sing.

Unlike other male singers who came up with such as like wearing army boots, "christmas tree" overdose accessories on his suit, towel over his head....you will know who are they in my next few days later in my blog.... It is damn funny to know / hear this.

Went to central view of this entire audition and finally grab the chance to take photo of him.

Too bad, you were not there to watch him on stage.

I hate the mirc Tony holding as I could not hear him singing or hear his voice. Think mirc probably had abit problem but it was over. Could not say anything now.

This is the "slanted" testing photo taking to see if it is good effect or not...

It was the last picture when he finished singing his song before the judges began to comment about him.

Hey.. Guess where I got this picture from ????

haha.. actually I took photo of this picture was from the big television which was in front of me.

More clearer photo, right...

SuperStar Idol Runner up. Kelly Poon who looked more glamour & prettier than last year.

Somemore, she will be leaving tiny hometown country to either Beijing or Taiwan to expand her music career there. better what..

Singapore is small, there is no possible way to expand career here especially only singing.

Champion SuperStar, Kelvin Tan Wei Lian looked smart in his attire appearance gave me so much surprise & impressive.

After a year, more and more people had shown him respects & supports constantly. And even they came to listen his singing songs at Suntec City.

I did not like to say that he is handicapped or blind then people will show him some sympathies. Look at him, he is 100% prefect man looks to me. Just that he is gift with vocal voice which he can sing well. Even my mother likes his songs and told me that he is handsome in television. Not only my mother, my little nephew also heard his song singing in television before. And I saw his little body shaking while watching kelvin singing. See Kelvin is going to China to further his music career there.

Learnt that it was Tony's 2nd times join PPS 2. No wonder he looked everything prefect but the judges commented him in such a thing... good thing I have forgetten this.

Even he could not make it to Top 12 Male Contestants but he was brave enough to show smile. He is far better than the other male singers who got single tear drops or showed sulk sad faces.

Give huge THUMB UP for Tony Lim as he had done his best on that day. There is no short cut or end path of dreaming to become singer.. Need more perserverance & patience & practice singing will earn him many opportunties to grab.

Good Luck to you, Tony. Many of us will support him in future events. :))
