he's so brave boy

Today is the last day of February 2008 that is leap year...really a rare memory for us to remember...the day of 29th only comes once every 4 years - that is what my hubby said to me.

We had brought baby J for check-up and jab. Good thing is that he is growing well and seem develops some little muscular just like his dad. baby J was so brave boy after he received jab and cried for 5mins. After that he smiled at us happily then we went to funan centre to get hubby's laptop fixed there.

Neither he showed any uncomfortable expression to us after a jab, I know it was very painful for him. Yet he fought with its painful jab for sometimes then showed us his charming smile. We gave him a big "thumb up" and hug him as much as we love him.

Then we went home and usually the same routine at 5-6pm I had to bathe him and surprisely that baby J pulled his clothes up so I took a chance to take this photo to remember his jab bravey.

After several hours, his wound was healed well. As well plaster was taken out already. So time for him to sleep at night.

at home, after bathed him. changed into this sleeping clothes.

new craving

Finally had this best beancurd and dough sticks from rocher, but not rocher area. It is somewhere in geylang area. When i was pregnant with jayden, i was little frightened of eating this and had have been warned. Till now I finally bought this to try together with my hubby.

Heard and read other reader's blog about this and prove me wrong that beancurd is really up to such an excellent standard to try. worth buy. let the pictures below do some talking.

oh so...so pretty bucket bag

I was attracted to this latest trend of bucket bag and most of them are sold out in this website. So tried my luck to make a trip to bugis village or far east plaza to see whether there are still selling of bucket bags.

To my huge open eyes, quite alot alot alot of girls and even teenagers also carrying almost the same bucket bags and almost the same designs. then I started to re-consider whether shall i buy or not....

Actually i never like to carry the same bucket bag like the other girls. kinda a little awkward to me somemore. hmhm...something like when me and other girl happened to bump each and stared at each other for carrying the same designed bucket bag and whispered to herself silently.

Spent 2 days consideration, decided not to buy and ended up buying another last limited piece - inspired chloe tote bag in end.

our trip to bangkok

Was leaving for bangkok from the day of valentine's day till 18th Feb 2008. bangkok has been always our dear country and our only one friend there. Not much taken photos during our trip and unfortuntately forget to bring camera out. so forgetful of me.

had breakfast at pacific coffee in changi airport T1 before check-in. flight was delayed by about half hour due to thai airshow there.

And was told not to take photos at suvarnabhumi airport when we were at check-out counter and every counters were full of travellers. managed to find short-cut to join in less queue-up counter to check out immediately.
Finally reached at Amari Watergate Hotel in bangkok. Very classic & pretty room.
big bathroom with bathtube. another one is shower cabinet and beside one is toilet.

another side view of room

got those cakes at half-discount prices at closing time. total about 125 bahts instead of 250 bahts.
mango tart, toffee coffee cake and strawberry yoghurt.
Nice trying to taste them.

in bangkok, got black canyon coffee, toffee chocolate cake and honeydew agar-agar.
all bought from air-con food court at fashion platinum mall.

Bought 12 water bottles at 144 bahts. we had been drinking water up to almost 24 bottles for 5 days stay there. we dont dare to drink soft drinks there. drinking water is clean enough for us.
actually we had A&W chicken wings, coke ice-cream foam and waffles for our dinner 2 times as in sg dont have this. :(
Forget to bring camera to take photos of them.

bought alot of clothes included baby clothes for jayden too. crazy shopper at bangkok indeed.

supposed to stay at baiyoke tallest hotel because of better breakfast choices such as japanese, korea, chinese, vietnam and other various. I stayed there twice before.
in amari watergate hotel, breakfast choice is not very much, compared to baiyoke.

just a cam-whore to grab this when we were on way to airport on the last day.

you see that in singapore, burgerking does not have this one. finally we tried this in suvarnabhumi airport before we went back home.

started to admire how big suvarnabhumi airport in bangkok.

flied back home singapore

we took royal silk A330 plane to singapore

prawn pasta really much nicer. lucky did not choose spicy beef or chicken.

bought this set at dfs, changi airport. only SGD $35.
Recommend you to try this new wine. very new taste of it.
I had tried this thrice times at my hubby's friend's christmas and cny event gathering.

strongly taste of mixed coffee and wine together.
time seemed fly very fast and i began to miss bangkok already. next trip to maybe taiwan or hongkong or japan. still considering the best choice to trip.

here i come, bangkok

finally a year had passed and baby jayden came to this beautiful world. I do deserve the few days break to travel to bangkok to have nice spa, nice foods, nice places to visit and shop too.

sadly that baby jayden cannot come along with me and hubby as he is only 10 weeks old. cannot wait for him to grow up big so that we can bring him around the world to see many things outside for his early exposure and learning different cultures and else.

leaving for bbk on the day of valentine's day :))

beautiful smile

Taken several photos of Baby J to catch his beautiful smile by a chance and by the time he was only 6-7 weeks old. Really surprised to see him smile so happily whenever he sees either me or my hubby. He never fail me constantly and his charm smile makes me love him more.

My hubby took those photos from digit camera back to his office to print out for his clients to share with.

Seeing him smile daily and i nearly hug him so closely to tell him how much I love him no matter if he is naughty or he makes me tired by feeding him or changing diapers or bathing him or cruddling him at night. All i want to see his smile everyday to brighten up my days.

lunar new year to you all

Tomorrow is the first day of Lunar New Year. Seem that time fly very fast...really it is.
Greeting to you all and wish you a Happy Lunar New Year and have a lot of ang pow.
have a fun days ahead...enjoy eating pineapple tarts and love letters goodies...make sure do watch your weight or calories level. hehe...

cny late dinner

after my last spree at FEP then rushed home to bring baby J and hubby to my big relative's home for lunch streamboat reunion at 4pm and lucky it did not start early. i ate abit as i would be eating curry chicken at late night at my home.

reached home at about 7pm then both of us were sosososos busy to prepare dinner and i had to wash up my baby j and cruddled him to sleep so that i got spare time to clean up home and washed clothes faster. till i was so fatigue and exhausted and waiting for my hubby to finsh cooking.

at late 10++ plus, it was my first time to eat cny eve reunion so late like this. not only us, his close friend came to our home.

the best curry chicken and pork prepared by my hubby.

shark fin mixed with egg. i know it was quite watery but eating it was not bad..
it was his first attempt to cook this.

trying to take photo of shark fin but i realised that i eaten it already before took this.
not very fat as no oil inside.
me very careful with what i eating and make sure i need to accomplish one of my resolutions this year.

cny shopping spree

this year was not good for me and i really dont like chinese new year festival, yet i did had my shopping spree last minutes today. and eventually did plan that i will be running at bedok reservoir on first day of cny. my hubby and baby jayden tag along with me too.

could not resist this pretty print vintage dress and i bought it from fashion room 707 at 2nd floor. and it was the last piece i managed to grab it alone. she gave me discount for this at $45 from $49.90.
i simply love either the top or dress should be colourful or have some prints or else to spice up one's image look. not entire plain with nothing on it. and also legging to match it.

bought this pair of flat shoes with gold bucket on it. only 2 colors available black and dark blue. when come to choose shoes, it was a tough time to make decision as there are many pretty designed shoes to choose.

inspired chloe locked leather bag i bought from the shop which i always buy. being her regular customer, i bought it at $40 instead of $55. it was a great good buy and i had it the same exact bag but it is black i still carrying.
another authentic clinique happy perfume 100ml was actually at $106 from department store, lucky i got it from local seller at only $48 brand new and unopened. still in wrap. :))

inspired french connection milan

This piece is such a fantastic inspired french connection dress that was named milan by local seller whom I bought it from. Saw it in her website and immediately ordered this dress without any hesitate or second consideration or what. I aware that it will be sold out soon due to the numerous of overwhelming responses in her comments. Somemore it is very reasonable price, only SGD $26 excluded postage.

Lucky was that she kept this for me as it was my second time buying from her. No regret of making purchase this dress and this seller is quite fast replying to every enquiries and responses.

I really looovvvveee this inspired milan dress veryyyy much....just that I like this pattern mixed together with black and white straight dress with back cross sleeveless. Material is soooo smooth satin that is suitable for weather here.

Reading and flapping all magazines such as Female and Her World or Seveteen to look for some updates that the fashion tip for summer&spring 2008 is all about patters and prints and color mixed. Not just one color so plain in one whole outfit that looks so boring.

KW is just out of my favourite shop list and admit to say that the price of her limited clothes is quite expensive and material is almost knit one. Not much to my liking as well. But I am still checking her website regularly for any latest updates and hope she brings in some better designs clothes and that fits up to UK12.

The Heart Truth Red Dress

The legendary Liza Minnelli took to the runway wearing a frock from Halston and at the end of her turn, serenaded the standing-room-only venue with her signature song, "New York, New York."

The Red Dress Collection is shown each February to raise awareness for The Heart Truth, the federal government’s program to raise awareness about heart disease in women. This is the Red Dress Collection's sixth turn in the Bryant Park tents, where designers have partnered with celebrities to create and show one-of-a-kind dresses. Past designers have included Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa, Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta dressing such celebrities as Lindsay Lohan, Angela Bassett and both Sarah Fergusons—the former duchess and the pop star.

The international ambassador for The Heart Truth—first lady Laura Bush, who attended the show with her daughter Barbara—kicked off the show by greeting the fashion crowd. "You've inspired women to wear smaller red dresses," she said, "through healthy eating, regular exercise and seeing doctors regularly."

The show started with a shimmery Molly Sims in a crystal-encrusted Daniel Swarovski dress. Lisa Rinna, in a fringe-y Michael Kors, shimmied and shook her way down the catwalk, showing off her "Dancing with the Stars" moves and ramping things up for her husband, Harry Hamlin, at the end of the runway. Rita Moreno, who starred in "West Side Story" many years ago, danced down the runway to that musical's overture in a Lily Samii suit and hat.

Sara Ramirez, from “Grey’s Anatomy,” wore a strapless Angel Sanchez—and was concerned about the catwalk. "I was wearing my boots when they walked me through rehearsal, so we'll see what happens." She worked the runway better than most models and looked to be having the most fun doing it.

Songbird Joss Stone, in Max Azria Atelier, didn't have a problem with her heels, as she cruised the catwalk barefoot. "Project Runway” host Heidi Klum was all legs in her super short Marc Jacobs sheath, showing some serious skin and a few flashes of her famous bare booty.
"Juno" star Allison Janney, in a long, slim Donna Karan, had a simple goal for the day. "I just don't want to fall—that’s it," she said. "I'm just going to have fun.”

The newly pregnant Mary Lynn Rajskub debuted her baby bump in Monique Lhuillier. "I feel really good," she said. "I was nervous this morning, but we practiced." Still, she admitted, "I'll eat at any chance I get," particularly ice cream and pasta.

Other participants were Maria Menounos in Marchesa, Ashanti in Tracy Reese, Cheryl Hines in Catherine Malandrino, Jenna Fischer for Carmen Marc Valvo, "Ugly Betty’s” Ana Ortiz in Badgley Mischka and Camryn Manheim in Ali Rahimi.
