On 20th December 2006, we went to SAFRA Mount Faber which was just new openly. Not only this, superbowl is slightly bigger than Tampines SAFRA..

We played bowling first as we came very early. The lanes was much smoother and hard for me to get strikes mostly.

Took this posh banner as it has some meaningful such as Xperience and the Ponential Power.. been wonder what it means... trying to figure it out.

Finall all the people arrived at between 630pm to 700pm and the buffet started at 715pm.

Buffet was great nice and quite huge. Got 2 seperates buffets at left and right sides. I took this at right side because my dear was queuing up there.

The girl in this picture, she was quite good as she got another individual trophy for top bowler scorer.

The 2nd runner - Advisor Clique II.

Sweet Mei Yan, at first she could not play bowling well and became abit numbed. Then with every team encouragement and taught her how to play bowling. At last, she made it after few attempts tried. She finally got 2nd trophy, saw her so happy non stop.

Frustrations & Tolerances....

LOVE LOVE THIS CANDID PHOTO related to what I want to write here about.
Been hold alot of frustrations and tolerances with this month of December which I really really hate......
1) heavy raining non stop - cause all clothes become foul smell after hang in kitchen for so many days..got to wash them again mah
2) full of crowd shoppers in Orchard, Bugis, Suntect and etc
3) SALE SALE SALE SALE SALE made people crazy to rush and queue up
4) bad cabbie drivers to drive speed or overtakes other cars at road
5) main issues rising like hike GST 7% ... sweating...
6) develop phobia of taking MRT due to few people died in MRT accidents recently - in end I am taking bus to go somewhere
7) job problem - unable to be found one for my mother to work part time or full time
8) standard living here is quite high and tough for my dear mother and it lands her alot of worries, still my brother and I tried our very best to make her leading better & relax life.
The 2 most recent encounters ;
9) when I was waiting at traffic light on way to the entrance takashiaya or somewhere, other person (mostly man) kept shouting at me at my back as I could not hear clearly as my ear is mixed sound of heavy rains and cars movement.
In end he got angry and walked toward to shout at me somemore to ask me where is the direction. No wonder few people looked at me and I knew something wrong and turned around...realised he was shouting at me. Still, he wanted to make much noise talking to me to make whole people looking at me. Damn his eyes cannot see me wearing my hearing aids on my both ears as I tied up my hair lor.
So I made him stress somemore and gave him a rude gesture by pretending I dont know in my shrug.
10) I had done helping my dear to buy 3 things for his colleagues and walked out of wisma atria to check whether raining was heavy or not. Then suddenly when I walked out of the entrance at 3rd floor, one idotic foreigner man in formal clothing who blocked and stood in front of me. Then he kept looking at me. What is this ?
He was kinda very crazy. In end, I told him off fiercely and walked away from him.

Sensation Insider Photos

Magic Pani I found was from taiwan auction website and really adore this green dress which I like very much. Not only me, my female friends also said this dress looked very unique and attractive enough to them. But if my friend wears this, I wont wear it and walk down at the street, wearing same dress as her.

Like let said, I kind enough to let her wearing this first then the next few days or weeks later, it will be my turn to wear this lastly.

Cannot be help myself as I kept looking at those pictures of green dress and admitted to say that it could not get enough of my eyes. Think if you were me, sure you like this too if I not wrong lah. Love those natural photography taken..... :))

Silence Breakthrough had been urged me sometimes and it had given me alot of troubles to work out within my own personal problem and my other issues which concern me mostly. And then in end, I suffered insomina since then and still I chose to silence it again and again. Yet, I want to sleep longer longer...till I wake up or not. Longed to shut out alot of frustrating happened coming to me....

My Dear Nephew

He is Jonathan, is the son of my young sister... Do not mistake him as look like above 3 years old as he looks very big little boy.. Actually he is just only 2 years old.. surprised ....
He was so happily eating this mini ice cream and put up fingers "V" in front of my digit camera.

He loves to eat as much as he wants...never stop lor.. Heart paint to see him so small boy still wants to eat this and that... Useless to stop him or else he will cry very very.. loud just like he acts like a tazan one..
Very smart & cute little boy and he is well-loved by my relatives and even my mother too..

He pestered me hardly to give him a mini ice-cream.. At first, I said cannot and got to wait till 7pm then eat this mini ice - cream. After he heard this, he became upset and started to cry non stop... Cannot stand him then I rushed to get ice cream from fridge for him to eat in order to stop crying so loud lor...

"Innocent look" in front of my digit camera and silently looked at me. Sometimes he likes me to take picture of him or not.

Still puting his fingers into "V" while eating mini ice - cream and he immediately sat down on floor to enjoy ice cream. Actually he was watching tv but I disturbed him to make him look at my digit camera..

Finally the last attempt to make him look cute pose like this. He said to me that ice cream was yummy and asked me if I wanted it or not. I shaked my head saying no thanks. He started to laugh at me crazily...

Really no idea why he still using his fingers with "V".. is he acting cute or what ? Most of my mother's friends said he looked like a 4 years old boy. *tap my forehead* after hearing this from my mother recently and i started to stroke jonathan's head. Of course I do love jonathan and jolene (little niece).

See... he cried like this and his legs was cycling or moving sway very fast motion and the pictures was unable to catch him in right photo. It turned out like this.. he very very naughty and asked me to get him another favour mini ice cream. I became little hard hearted, saying no firmly. In end, he was angry with me and started cry very loud.. even the whole neighbours corridor outside and other side could hear him crying loud.. I act like did not see him and pretended not notice him to ensure he stopped crying lor.

After pretending not to see him, he was sad and bended down to hide his crying baby face with his both arms to cover his face. So cute of him..After that, I stopped taking pictures of him or else he would trying to approach me and blocked me everytimes I tried very hard to take candid photos of him in sort of his funny & cute ways.

X'mas Gathering at MHI old tuition

On 2nd December 2006, was just before the day of Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2006, X'mas Gathering was held at MHI old tuition at Wesley Methodist Church Level 4 where I attended tuition when I was in secondary one to three.

This gathering was small group with different departments of MHI. See the red shirts of people was actually hearing - impaired group who was doing hip hop danceon that day. The rest of people was hearing volunteers or interpreters. Pardon me...most of them I do not know and never seen before... I dont see the need to intro myself to them as I no longer come to extend my commitment service at MHI anyway.

*tsk ... tsk.... jordan you looked at my digit camera...alamak...* you looked cool in this sitting posture.

*lady in red shirt & jean in front of my camera - Perng Perng...why you looked so sulk..no smile huh... *

* Male and Female Master Ceremony... at right side, she is hearing impaired, Jane Lim. * Thumb up for her.
This male MC, forget his name even though I seen him before... he was so damn funny & good at acting as a deaf or other roles on that day. He is a real good natural actor who kept people laughing non - stop.

This youth HI people danced themselves without music to follow. Kinda surprised lor.

With co-operation among HI to dance together is very hard unless they have to go through many practices to make it prefect. Now they finally did it.

Displayed their hip hop dancing individual between 2 different sides.

At left side, after they danced at different steps or style dance then at right side will do another steps.. Look like they memoried this dances by heart.
No wonder, no music to dance together...
I remember one event that when I was in secondary one or two, I had a HI male friend who was good at dancing just like old popular group, Spice Girls. He formed with 4 girls together with him as like Spice Girls. Then we all trained ourselves to listen music many times to get familiar with Spice girls songs and dances as well.
After 2 months, we went to sentosa for 3 - 4 days camping with other students then we brought CD player along. When music started, we knew what song was that and we danced to follow this exactly... We did it at last. We cant hear songs but we can feel the music song vibtation. It was a great memory to me.

** boring or yawn looks of people sitting **
See the girl in red shirt standing at centre, she was the one who gave instructions to HI dancers to do steps. See no music.. Still can do it.

Paid strictly attention to the girl standing at back. see picture above this one.

Dr. Victor Keng who held the white bag... he was the one who gave different characters actiong roles of different pastors beahviours in church. Didnt know that he could act well.

Photo taking together with 2 senior HIs - Vanessa (white long slevee) and Pauline (Black shirt in centre).

*alamak... trying to adjust close up photo...*

Photo taking together with others....
Refused to stand close with the lady in specs and white top who was standing beside me.. she is kinda abit "little fake & arragont" even though she looked gentle behaviour to me.
Will remember myself that I wont give her a hand shake to greet next time as she gave a "rude" small hand shake (only fingers to shake hand like this), not whole hand to shake as friendly greeting each other. Actually, I forget not to shake hand with her.
Alamak, *tap my headache* to remember this shit...
Enough about this green tea - jasmine.. tsk ..... tsk ......

Took this beautiful Christmas decorations and wish you all a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2007.
Pardon me and my little "rude" straightforward blogging here but I did not mean it in my heart actually.
Just that I just really.. really .... hate people with those arrogant & rude beheaviours that really freak me out.

My day & experience at Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2006

Writing here about my day & experience about my taking part in Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2006 on 3rd December 2006 (Sunday)... It was great fun and exciting on that day I wont forget till then..

Before that, my dear and I got to wake up at 445am and prepared things ready to go there. Then my dear got to worry of how to go there and where to park the car.. he is just a new driver... so told him to park car at Shaw Tower opp Suntec City. Even got to guide him by pointing the roads / express way to CTE.. alamak.. I should be the one to drive as I know roads in Singapore quite well... But given my hearing condition, I cannot be driver anyway.

When my dear was driving, I immediately took out the champion chip and inserted it on my shoes lace and his shoes too.. I was little worried about my energy / strength because I barely slept only 3 hours and was quite tired & sleeply. Then started to drink vitamin C and cereals before reaching there. Also got my dear to eat cereals too..

Even though I had my own run training but it was not much serious, yet I only wanted to complete 10km running by 55 minutes.. Did not know if I expect too much of myself or just want to achieve my timing for 10km running. I was told that 10km distance is actually short and could finish it by about 45 - 50 mins... After hearing this, it is impossible. So I just said to myself to give it a try but I do not want to stop at half way. Because I did finish running 10km at SAFRA Sheares Bridge 2006.

We walked together to start point near esplanade and warm up ourselves... in end I keep sighing to myself and try not to exhaust too much or else I could finish 10km running... At 7.00am, my dear went first for Men 10km run then mine (Women 10km) turn was at 7.30am. I was very bored and stood there alone to do some extra warm up to wake up myself. I had a bad feeling about myself that I could not understand what the person who was talking on mic (maybe MC) because I am hearing impaired. So I got to watch runners action or behaviour like for example, all women runners raise their arms up and clapped so I followed them. And when they started to run so I followed them or else.. It is very disturbing to know my hearing condition as being deaf myself. But I am used to it as I have been running in few events before.

At 7.30am, we all women runners started to run so I followed them, but not follow them completely.. I mean the route where to run. Then I started to run the route abit faster. When was at Raffles Quay, I noticed all runners keep looking back and I wonder what was happening as I could not hear the sound... So I looked back and realised it was an ambulance so I moved aside on road...carry on running..

But...it was a little disappointing with women runners who did not know what they were doing on road route. In end, I was stopped or blocked by few many runners who ran faster then stopped to walk abit then moved from left to right or from right to left on road.. Seeing them like this made me very tired quite fast and frustrated, I must say admit... Especially at marine road, marine PL, marine park, marine way, I never expected to see huge clash with other runners of 10km Men, 21km and full marathon runners on same roads... It becomes the biggest crowd and I got to remain calm and try not to complain alot..

After I gain some calm and decided to give myself a fierce fight back by run pass through runners and ignored them who tried to block me or stop at somewhere on road.. I could not afford to lose my timing. Shaking my head to remind myself to focus on running to finish 10km first - was the most important to me...

Running all the way till Shenton or Robinson Road, I saw the man who fainted on road and see the blood coming out from his head.. It was really frightening and closed my eyes to run faster. Saw the sign mention ***metres to finish point, I kept smile to myself to know that I would finish my 10km run.. till at St. Andrew's road, I saw the clock timing 1:00:00 something, it was huge shocked and ran faster to reach there. Finally, I set my watch clocked was at 1:12:something. I felt not satisfied with my personal timing as I supposed to finish it by before 60 mins.

Nevermind about my timing, so I looked for my dear and found him. He hugged me saying I did well and ran faster than his timing. I did not believe it. Then we went to collect medal after returned champion chip to volunters in tent..... then we went to route side to lend our supports to our friends who was running 42.195km full marathon...

I had seen alot of fat or big size runners can run at long distance well, it was really surprised me. But some runners who are like "uncles or aunties or grandfathers" impressed me alot and deserved my respects. They could complete 42.195km within 5 - 6 hours. They are blessed with long live and stay fit. Then suddenly to think why they could do it, why cannot I ? Kinda paiseh myself lor...

It is also another surprise that it is rare trend of seeing runners sign up for half marathon 21km and full marathon run.

After seeing them finished their 42.195km run, I gave myself sometime to think and decided to sign up 21km SAFRA Sheares Bridge first to see if I can finish this distance or not. If I could do it, I will sign up 21km or 42.195km at standard charatered singapore marathon 2007. I think the motto "Distance can be overcome" and "Impossible is nothing" which I saw on banners somewhere...

At least, I have learnt something there and it will be my first experience to explore there. Thank you Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2006 origansation.

My hubby's tag number 24635 (blue for Men 10km catergory). His timing clocked 1:07:something.

My tag number 34574 (green for Women 10km catergory).

Took picture of my first medal of 10km run......

I was extremely happy to get this medal as a memory.

See the indicated of 10km (central) on it near the merlion.

After I clocked it at finish line then I refused to change it back to zero. I just want to keep it still to remind myself for the better timing next year.

Finally kissed my first medal of 10km Women.

Smile at last with joy ........

We really love those goodies... especially nice adidas color top...
*see you at 2007 SAFRA Sheares Bridge Marathon and Standard Chartered Marathon* grinsz.....
