at ikea tamp
Went to Ikea Tampines to do some home decoration or any idea to change or update for my home and we are quite get bored of seeing the same color or furniture at home for 3 years already. Probably change the wall color to bright or we ask the interior designer for some options.

from bangkok
Bought few baby clothes from bangkok during my last trip with my hubby was in february 2008. Actually it was extremely cheap : the left one costs only 200 baht = SGD $8.80. And the right side: green short was 180 baht = SGD $7.90 and demin blue short 200 baht - SGD $8.80. The material is just fine prefect for the weather here in SG. Wanted to buy few baseball rompers but unfortunately was no size 6 months above available. Only for below 6months baby boy.

fashion baby clothes
Actually it was quite a overdue post. argh.... ;)) It was my first time to shop baby clothes with my hubby for baby jayden and also preparing to buy him a new wardrobe when he turns one year old in November 2008.
Bought 4 pcs from mothercare outlet and received well comments by the numerous of mothers who bought baby clothes for their kids. And also planning to buy few clothes from gap at vivo city soon. Lucky at that time, I got a good value buy such as buy 3 tops or shorts, get one free. Coolz....!~!

Demin short 6-9months and stripe red top 6-9months. So that baby jayden wont outgrow them so soon.
6-9 months baby boy clothes. But it fits him just nicely even he is only 4+ months old.
Mr. Noisy baby instead....actually I chose this because my baby jayden is really getting very naughty and noiser by trying to make noise sound to get my attention. Very loud instead. 24hours in stereo proved the exact like him who disturbed our sleeps at wee hours between 3am to 7am. Usual routine I wake up at 7-8am to feed him milk and bathe him.
Bought 3 items and got one item free, total cost was only $74.00.

juicy couture inspired dress
Think it was quite a overdue post and managed to post it here. I happened to browse and saw the lovely black dress I found from online website and it costs only $26.00 excluded registered mail I paid for it. No more white color for me...too sensitive color somemore.
And I did not know where the seller brought this pierce from and eventually I thought that she hunt those nice clothes from overseas there to sell here. Back then, when my hubby and I went to bangkok for our holiday there. And I suddenly saw the similar dress selling in one of shopping mall somewhere near baiyoke tallest hotel.
It costs only baht 220 per dress = SGD $10.
Really had a shock myself and began to think about it....dont tell me that the seller brought all clothes from bangkok in to sell here is not it.
I rather to have bought this similar dress in bangkok instead of this seller. But never expect that she post this collection earlier than our trip to bbk in mid-week of february 08. *faintzzzzzzzzz* It will be my last purchase from this seller.

baby jayden's growing up
I did a simple gallery presentation for my hubby's cilent who wants to see my baby jayden photo. When I kept looking at this for either short or long time, I really cannot imagine myself so blessing to have a beautiful boy like him. And coming to 4th months soon, I have notice him growing up so much difference and more chubby & cuter & laughier & happier & noiser. Really...
Still I stay with him all the time to make sure he is growing up well. Began to grow love him abit and abit. Admit to say that it is extremely not easy for me to raise him...and try our best to teach him properly from start young till now. This applies the same for all parents in SG.

laughing time
This photo was taken by my hubby secretly before had a family photo by using tripod and digit camera. It works effectively at our first beginning.
Oh my dear...i forget to change into better nice clothes for this photo taken but it was just our first attempt so that there will be a better photo next time. Really surprised to see this picture when he showed it to me.
Actually I was trying to make Baby J laugh and smile at the same time in front of camera, but it was not easy for me to do it alone. Only baby J laughs and smiles when he looks at me or hubby, not at the camera. Thinking....if i could put milk bottle on digit camera tripod to distract him to look at camera directly or not. Going to give it a try soon.

there are 3 Js
This photo was taken by my younger sister when my hubby and i was away for thailand holiday last month february. Really love this photo much.
From the left to right: (my sister's kids) jonathan and jolene. the centre one is my baby jayden. I dont know why we chose the letter "J" to name our kids. But my main reason why i chose J - because i really want to tell him that Jesus loves everybody included him.
Jonathan is coming to be 4 years old in May that is the same day as my mother's birthday. And for Jolene already turned 2 years old last month.
I have been keep looking at this photo for long long time and noticed that Jolene and Jayden have the similar eyes shape and chubby cheeks.

dream team makeovers
Team 1
BEFORE: "I don't know what my natural color is anymore -- I've been lightening my hair for about 10 years. Plus, I'd like to get a better shape; I've been wearing my hair long recently, and I just don't know what to do with it." -Trang Chuong, 35, journalist
Fine-hair fix: "Trang's hair was lackluster," says Tim. To energize it, he gave her a blunt cut just at the collarbone. "It's a great length for fine hair like Trang's," says Tim. "It still looks long, but it doesn't lose heft the way it does when it's longer." He then went in and gave Trang some long, "flicky" layers and full bangs to frame her face and balance her broad forehead.
Volume-boosting color: "When your hair color and skin color are too similar, the skin tends to look washed out," explains Rita. "By adding more depth to Trang's hair, we gave her skin a more youthful glow." Rita darkened Trang's base to a chocolate brown, and added a variety of highlight shades -- honey, caramel, golden blonde -- to create the illusion of fullness. Says Rita, "The blonde pieces will help smooth Trang's transition to a darker shade."
The upkeep product: Charles Worthington London Big Hair Texturizing Salt Spray, $6, adds body to Trang's layers. AFTER: "It was hard for me to leave blonde behind, but suddenly I'm a sexy brunette!" -Trang
Team 2
BEFORE: "My hair is so fine that it's really hard to do anything with it. I've tried curling it, perming it -- nothing seems to give it body! Also, it's naturally light brown, and though I color it blonde, my hair has an odd orange tone." -Jennifer Farmer, 29, fashion merchandiser
A hair-lifting cut: "The length of Jennifer's hair was dragging her down," says Peter. So he cut chunky, shorter layers around Jen's crown, then cut "swoopy" bangs that go from short to longer pieces. "That way, Jen can have bangs, but they won't hang in her face," Peter says. To style, all Jen needs to do is flip her head over and move the blow-dryer around like it's a windy day.
Natural-looking color: "Jen's hair color was a little schizo," says Kim. "Blonde at the tips, uneven in the middle, and dark at the roots." For color direction, Kim looked into Jen's eyes -- and saw beautiful honey-brown flecks he just had to enhance. So he gave her a maple-blonde color, then hand-painted pieces of different thicknesses so the highlights would mimic natural hair color: "The thinner pieces will appear baby blonde, and the thicker pieces will go more golden," says Kim.
The upkeep product: Kim Vo Dry Serum Perfect Polish, $55, will help Jen's blonde stay shiny between salon visits.AFTER: "I'm originally from Texas, and at last I don't feel like a small-town girl living in the city -- I look like a New Yorker!" -Jennifer
I really admire those dream team makeover who can transform women into a brand new look differently from the last time look. How i wish they can do to my hair to make it look something new different. That is why I have been long thinking of a new hairstyle to suit my image look and a new trend hair for this year. Have not find any best salon recommended. I never want to crop off my long hair.
I fear of going to m'sia JB to have my hair done at mirror talk salon at holiday plaza where I used to for the past 2 years. But no more go there due to the unhealthy crime there that is not safe to go. Or maybe I wait the next few months more for JB crime drops or cool stable....

another home dream
Happening to browse and saw the best idea for my coming dream home to build up. The currently one we staying at our home is more style of bali designs, was the idea by my hubby back about 4 years ago.
Now it is my turn to think of something very relaxing & classic design something like this. Big view at living room and very bright to refect well into this room. Classic art hanger on wall is the one i want.
Red L-shaped sofa is really suit to this entire while painted living room. This will be our next thing to work on....... just to make it more realistic dream come true....

he's so brave boy
Today is the last day of February 2008 that is leap year...really a rare memory for us to remember...the day of 29th only comes once every 4 years - that is what my hubby said to me.
We had brought baby J for check-up and jab. Good thing is that he is growing well and seem develops some little muscular just like his dad. baby J was so brave boy after he received jab and cried for 5mins. After that he smiled at us happily then we went to funan centre to get hubby's laptop fixed there.
Neither he showed any uncomfortable expression to us after a jab, I know it was very painful for him. Yet he fought with its painful jab for sometimes then showed us his charming smile. We gave him a big "thumb up" and hug him as much as we love him.
Then we went home and usually the same routine at 5-6pm I had to bathe him and surprisely that baby J pulled his clothes up so I took a chance to take this photo to remember his jab bravey.
After several hours, his wound was healed well. As well plaster was taken out already. So time for him to sleep at night.

new craving
Finally had this best beancurd and dough sticks from rocher, but not rocher area. It is somewhere in geylang area. When i was pregnant with jayden, i was little frightened of eating this and had have been warned. Till now I finally bought this to try together with my hubby.
Heard and read other reader's blog about this and prove me wrong that beancurd is really up to such an excellent standard to try. worth buy. let the pictures below do some talking.

oh so...so pretty bucket bag
I was attracted to this latest trend of bucket bag and most of them are sold out in this website. So tried my luck to make a trip to bugis village or far east plaza to see whether there are still selling of bucket bags.
To my huge open eyes, quite alot alot alot of girls and even teenagers also carrying almost the same bucket bags and almost the same designs. then I started to re-consider whether shall i buy or not....
Actually i never like to carry the same bucket bag like the other girls. kinda a little awkward to me somemore. hmhm...something like when me and other girl happened to bump each and stared at each other for carrying the same designed bucket bag and whispered to herself silently.
Spent 2 days consideration, decided not to buy and ended up buying another last limited piece - inspired chloe tote bag in end.

our trip to bangkok
Was leaving for bangkok from the day of valentine's day till 18th Feb 2008. bangkok has been always our dear country and our only one friend there. Not much taken photos during our trip and unfortuntately forget to bring camera out. so forgetful of me.
had breakfast at pacific coffee in changi airport T1 before check-in. flight was delayed by about half hour due to thai airshow there.
And was told not to take photos at suvarnabhumi airport when we were at check-out counter and every counters were full of travellers. managed to find short-cut to join in less queue-up counter to check out immediately.
Finally reached at Amari Watergate Hotel in bangkok. Very classic & pretty room.
big bathroom with bathtube. another one is shower cabinet and beside one is toilet.
another side view of room
another side view of room
got those cakes at half-discount prices at closing time. total about 125 bahts instead of 250 bahts.
mango tart, toffee coffee cake and strawberry yoghurt.
Nice trying to taste them.
all bought from air-con food court at fashion platinum mall.
Bought 12 water bottles at 144 bahts. we had been drinking water up to almost 24 bottles for 5 days stay there. we dont dare to drink soft drinks there. drinking water is clean enough for us.
actually we had A&W chicken wings, coke ice-cream foam and waffles for our dinner 2 times as in sg dont have this. :(
Forget to bring camera to take photos of them.
supposed to stay at baiyoke tallest hotel because of better breakfast choices such as japanese, korea, chinese, vietnam and other various. I stayed there twice before.
in amari watergate hotel, breakfast choice is not very much, compared to baiyoke.
just a cam-whore to grab this when we were on way to airport on the last day.
you see that in singapore, burgerking does not have this one. finally we tried this in suvarnabhumi airport before we went back home.
started to admire how big suvarnabhumi airport in bangkok.
flied back home singapore
we took royal silk A330 plane to singapore
prawn pasta really much nicer. lucky did not choose spicy beef or chicken.
Recommend you to try this new wine. very new taste of it.
I had tried this thrice times at my hubby's friend's christmas and cny event gathering.
time seemed fly very fast and i began to miss bangkok already. next trip to maybe taiwan or hongkong or japan. still considering the best choice to trip.
